Bookings at SideOut Beach in Leyton will be available again as soon as possible.​

Since the 5th of October 2018 and after 6 years at Oliver Road, E10 FL5, the original SideOut Beach in Leyton is now based at the new Feel Good Too Centre at Ive Farm Sports Ground, only a few minutes away from our old home. Our new home has 6 floodlit courts, with world-class equipment, as well as a new cafe with a roof-top terrace and viewing area, showers, changing rooms and much more!

Opening Times & Bookings

Prior to 1 April, our courts are available between 10:00am and 9:30pm on weekdays and 10:00am and 4:30pm on weekends.

From 1 April to 30 September, our courts are available to book between 10:00am and 10:00pm on weekdays. Weekend bookings are not available, as we run different events each weekend. Check out the events calendar here!

Courts can be booked up to 30 days in advance. For any block bookings beyond 30 days, corporate bookings or other private events, please feel free to contact us via the form at the bottom of this page!

Rates & Payment

Standard rate:  £21 per hour (maximum of 8 people per court)

Members' rate: £16 per hour  (maximum of 8 people per court). Available only to members of SideOut Beach Volleyball Club. Member ship costs only £21 per yearand is available here .

Payment : We only accept payment through PayPal, which offers maximum flexibility and ensures that your payments are secure! No additional charges apply and you do not need a PayPal account to make payment.

-20-minute walk from Leyton tube station

-15-minute walk from Leyton Midland Road overground station

-Short bus ride from Leyton tube station to 'Villiers Close' bus stop which is a 3-minute walk to the venue:

--bus 158 (every 7-10 mins); or 

--bus 58 (every 10-14 mins).

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book a court?

It's simple! All you need to do is go to the booking page form SideOut Beach in Leyton or SideOut Beach in Worthing   and create a short and simple user profile. Note that, if you only have a user profile on our registration system, you will also need a separate profile for booking a court. Once you have this, simply choose the date and time you want to start your booking, choose your preferred booking duration and click 'create booking'. This will take you straight to the payment page.

What does it cost?          

Members of SideOut Beach Volleyball Club pay £16 per hour. Other users pay £21 per hour. (Membership is only £21 per year and is available here). We only accept payment through PayPal, which offers maximum flexibility and ensures that your payments are secure! No additional charges apply and you do not need a PayPal account to make payment.

What does the price include?

The above prices include access to all on-site facilities (changing rooms, showers, etc) as well as the use of one ball on your court. These prices do not including coaching or other services and do not apply to corporate bookings or other similar events; for such details please contact us via the form at the bottom of this page.

What happens next?

Once you've paid, your booking will appear on the online calendar. That's it - session booked! Just turn up at the time you've booked and enjoy your time on the sand! If there is free court time after your booking and you want to extend your session, you are welcome to do so - simply inform our staff and pay on the day. 

Please note that if you do not make payment within 15 minutes, your booking will be automatically deleted from the system. 

Refunds? Bad weather?

All bookings are non-refundable. However, if you cancel at least 24 hours before the start of your booking, we will give you a credit towards a future booking. We are open come rain or shine, but if particularly bad weather prevents play on the day of your booking, we will also provide you with a credit for a future booking.
